As part of a volunteer program to publicize NASA’s exploration efforts: I maintain space exploration exhibits at The Discovery Center in Fresno, and the NASA Educator Resource Center at California State University, Fresno. In addition, I teach classes on space exploration topics at museums, libraries, and elementary schools as well as NASA centers, adult service club meetings, and science education conferences. ***** Under the auspices of SciQ Systems, I also teach Saturday Science classes on a variety of topics. ***** Before this, I was a GEMS Trainer, exhibit preparator. and science educator at Castle Science and Technology Center in Atwater, CA for 6 years, and prior to that, a bilingual K-8 teacher in Madera Unified and Coalinga Unified School Districts for 35 years.***** During my college years, I also worked as a preparator at UC Berkeley's Anthropology museum.
