As part of a volunteer program to publicize NASA’s exploration efforts: I maintain space exploration exhibits at The Children’s Museum of the Sierra in Oakhurst, The Discovery Center in Fresno, and the NASA Educator Resource Center at California State University, Fresno. In addition, I teach classes on space exploration topics at museums, libraries, and elementary schools as well as NASA centers, adult service club meetings, and science education conferences. *** Under the auspices of SciQ Systems, I also teach Saturday Science classes on a variety of topics at Fresno’s Discovery Center. *** Before that, I was a GEMS Trainer, exhibit preparator. and science educator at Castle Science and Technology Center in Atwater, CA for 6 years, and prior to that, a bilingual K-8 teacher in Madera Unified and Coalinga Unified School Districts for 35 years.
